The Stingher 10 metre Rib is the latest edition and flagship of the Stingher range; it was launched at the Genoa boat show in October 07.
The end user was firmly in Giuseppe’s mind when he built this Rib. Designed from the knowledge he has gained in 22 years boat building, and with his passion for perfection, the Stingher 10 metre is testament to his goal.
The Stingher 10 metre is equally at home being used a large family sports Rib, as it is when chosen as a Super Yacht tender.
The position of the helm unit is extremely comfortable with its side bolsters giving you very good lateral support, and houses the electric fridge and stainless steel sink.
The main console not only has lots of room for your instruments and gauges on its Carbon fibre facia, it also has a large door in the front, with built in seat, that opens up to reveal an toilet area with foldable bench seat that doubles up as a changing room or lockable storage area.
The front sundeck has four huge lockers, and the infill’s can be changed to a table to give an eight seat dining area, complete with remote control deck lights and speakers.
To further enhance your comfort there is a full remote control sound system with CD/radio/ipod connector with JL speakers, woofers, and 1000 watt amplifier.
It is fitted as standard with an electric windlass, electric shower, bathing platform, bathing ladders, and flexi teek decking.
The Rib will take up to twin 300hp engines which are flyby wire. We then fit a three battery system combined with a Solar panel for total piece of mind.
The All round white and navigation lights are LED with up to 4 miles visibility.
The 10 metre was recently tested by Paul Lemmer on behalf of RIB International in a very choppy force 7 in the Solent. On the day it was the only Rib to achieve 50 knots, whilst at the same time remain dry other than side spray from the wind. It was rated by him as one of the most capable 10m hulls available.
This Rib really is a true cruising machine.
In mid August 2008 we took our demonstrator over to Guernsey for our dealers to show potential customers. On the way out the weather was a South Westerly 5 gusting 6 taking a little longer than our return journey in a Force 3 cruising at 34 knots and getting back in 2 hours 50 minutes. However the Rib performed superbly in both types of sea state and wind.
As further testament to its exceptional build quality, equipment levels, comfort, and sea handling, it is one of only four Ribs in the over 9 metre category to be recommended by Rib International in the 2009 Super Yacht Tender buyers guide. The Stingher was the largest of the four recommended, and was the least expensive, with the most expensive being almost double.
